"Wow! What a jacket." This purchase marks the highest amount I've ever spent on a single item of clothing in my 56 years, but I couldn't be happier with my decision. It's truly in a league of its own compared to anything I've bought before.
From the moment I tried it on in-store at Throttlechimp, I noticed the upgrade in quality of materials and the sheer comfort it provided. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it complemented my shape, giving me a trim look. Despite its high-quality build, it's surprisingly lightweight. The numerous adjusting straps ensure a snug fit, adding to the overall comfort.
The inclusion of D3O armor in the elbows, shoulders, and the back protector was a major selling point for me. It's a relief not to have to purchase an extra back protector separately. Every detail, from the fasteners to the zips, showcases the meticulous design of this jacket. Even the outer venting zips have garages to prevent water ingress. The collar is comfortable, and I appreciate the effectiveness of the adjustable neck strap. Additionally, the abundance of pockets adds practicality to the jacket. I particularly like the thumb hooks at the end of the sleeves and the ability to tuck gloves inside the jacket between the layers.
Having worn it in all kinds of weather over the past month, I can confidently say that I've stayed warm and dry for the first time ever. In summary, this jacket is a well-thought-out piece that prioritizes safety, comfort, and functionality. It surpasses other more expensive brands in value while matching them in quality. Don't just take my word for it; try one on yourself and discover its numerous features firsthand. And I must say, I think I look pretty good in it too!
A big thanks to Throttlechimp for their assistance and advice throughout the process.
