With two shell sizes, it caters to a variety of fits, with a smaller shell for XS, S, and M, and a larger one for L, XL, and XXL.
For safety, it’s equipped with the Caberg SOS Medical ID system, which ensures that first responders can quickly access important medical details in the event of an accident. Inside, the helmet features a fully removable and washable lining, made from breathable and hypoallergenic materials for enhanced comfort on long rides.
The visor setup includes an anti-scratch clear visor along with a Pinlock MAXVISION 70 lens, which keeps your vision clear by preventing fogging. There’s also a built-in sun visor (DVT) with an anti-scratch finish, and the main visor comes with a central locking system for added security.
Ventilation is well-designed, featuring an adjustable chin vent with a removable cover for personal comfort, as well as a large top vent with two adjustable inlets for fresh air. To keep things cool, there are two rear extractors with removable covers to help expel hot air.
Securing the helmet is straightforward with its Double D Ring buckle, providing a snug and reliable fit. It’s also ready for the Caberg Pro Speak Evo intercom system, making communication on the road a breeze.
In terms of weight, the Tanami model is 1450g ± 50g for the small shell and 1530g ± 50g for the large shell, while the Tanami Carbon comes in lighter at 1380g ± 50g for the small shell and 1460g ± 50g for the large.
