The Caberg Tanami Scram Adventure Helmet in black, red, blue, and light blue offers a robust construction using either fibreglass or a fibreglass/carbon blend for added strength and lightness. It’s available in two shell sizes – one for XS, S, and M, and another for L, XL, and XXL, ensuring a tailored fit for a wide range of riders.
A standout feature is the Caberg SOS Medical ID, which allows first responders to access essential medical information quickly in case of an accident. The helmet’s interior is designed for comfort, with a fully removable and washable lining made from hypoallergenic, breathable materials.
The helmet’s visors include an anti-scratch clear visor and a Pinlock MAXVISION 70 lens for fog-free riding. There’s also a built-in sun visor (DVT) with an anti-scratch finish, along with a visor central locking system to keep everything secure.
Ventilation is handled by an adjustable chin vent with a removable cover for a custom feel, as well as a large top vent with two adjustable inlets for airflow control. Heat and stale air are efficiently expelled through two rear extractors, which also come with removable covers for added versatility.
For fastening, the helmet uses a Double D Ring buckle for a secure fit. It’s also ready for intercom systems, specifically compatible with the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communication system.
Weighing in at 1450g ± 50g for the small shell and 1530g ± 50g for the large shell, the standard Tanami is sturdy without being overly heavy. The lighter Tanami Carbon version comes in at 1380g ± 50g for the small shell and 1460g ± 50g for the large.
As expected, the helmet meets the latest ECE 22.06 safety standards, ensuring it’s up to date with modern safety regulations.
