The Bionic Tech V3 Jacket is designed with advanced protection features, offering comfort and flexibility for riders. Both the dual-zone chest and back protectors are built with a sturdy central section surrounded by a softer, flexible compound, all backed by soft bio-foam padding. This combination allows the chest protector to mould comfortably to the shape of your body, thanks to its flexible side wings and bio-foam design.
For maximum airflow, the central sections of the chest and back protectors are placed behind a perforated impact grid, ensuring optimal ventilation. The chest and back protectors are kept securely in place with adjustable shoulder straps. The jacket features a simple on-off design, with the chest protector easily detachable using a quick-release magnetic buckle on the left shoulder, and an adjustable V-belt system securing the lower part through ventilated rib guards.
The V-belt design helps distribute the tension over a wider area of the back protector, resulting in a more secure and comfortable fit, while the rib guards offer extra protection in key areas. For even more airflow, 17% of the protector structure includes ventilation openings, strategically aligned across both hybrid layers to maximise ventilation and channel heat away from the chest.
The back protector is anatomically designed to be both highly ventilated and flexible. It's also compatible with BNS systems, thanks to a removable puck panel and elasticated pull tabs. The chest and back protectors can be removed from the base layer for easy washing. The jacket offers quick access through a magnetic buckle on the left shoulder and a central zip.
V-straps on the lower forearm help customise the fit while keeping the elbow protectors in place, and similar V-straps on the back protector allow for a more adaptive fit. There’s also strategically placed EVA foam padding on the upper arms and chest to provide additional roost protection. The base layer is made from race-proven breathable and stretchable materials for comfort and durability. The jacket also features floating chest and back protectors and rib guards for added protection, and the waist strap is not attached to the back protector for greater freedom of movement.
